Composed Salad

This summer salad was inspired by an article on SFGate about Japanese-California cooking by Tara Duggan and a photo by Russell Yip of tomato "sashimi" from Iyasare Restaurant in Berkeley.

Beautiful plate and chopsticks, too. No one presents food more beautifully than the Japanese.

Zoomie- I got the chopsticks from a secret Santa years ago. I agree the presentation is amazingly simple yet complex. I aspire.
