Happy St. Pat's! Corned Beef O'Plenty

We had an interesting and fun weekend. On Saturday we planned a ferry ride to S.F. to check out the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market. We arrived at the Larkspur Ferry forty minutes early to find a sea of scantily clad young people wearing green, in line and partying! Oops, I forgot about the St. Pat's Day Parade! I'm not a big crowd guy so we changed course and drove across the street to Marin Country Mart where they had their own farmer's market happening. We wandered about admiring the fresh produce and breads.

After our market visit we headed back towards home and decided to stop in our favorite bakery-cafe, Creekside Bakery. We kept it Irish in honor of St. Pat's. I had, what I called the Corned Beef O'Plenty Sandwich. Avril choose the green spinach quiche with feta. Happy St. Pat's!

And a happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too! I'm making beef stewed in Guiness today. Does that count?
