Birthday Sangria

My daughter is celebrating her birthday this whole week. She is planning a get together with her friends and I wanted to help make the Sangria for the party. She had downloaded a recipe and I basically followed it but added a bunch of  simple syrup to compensate for some really dry wine. I  used Meyer lemons that also raised the sweetness level. Pretty, and tastes good too.
