A Little Help from friends

Road trip recon. I just found out I'm driving to Portland Oregon this weekend. Never having been there before, I am looking for fun food adventures . We are staying in Vancouver Washington a few miles beyond Portland. We have allotted two days for driving and four days in town. There is a little business attached to the trip but mostly fun.

Anybody out there got ideas? I'm looking for small budget, tasty places to eat. Also want to absorb some of the local food scene. Comments emails encouraged. Dr. B has mentioned A&B meat market in Bend Oregon for bacon. I'd like to stop at farms stands and such too. Let me know. Thanks!

Greg

It is located 15 miles out of Portland,in Troudale Oregon. It is an 'Old Poor Farm' which has been converted into a Bed and Breakfast. It is so much more. It is a microbrewery, winery and distillery, It has a golf course, two restaraunts, movie theater, and beautiful grounds to explore. It is reasonably priced. It is a Disneyland for alcoholics. Yeah!

And about my capacity for output - erm - I don't watch tv, I am very boring and don't go out much, I have a degree in communication & media and Fred wakes me up too early in the morning, so I have to find something to do with the extra hour I would everwise have happily spent slumbering.
