Homemade Is Best
Over the Easter Weekend we stayed close to home. Avril made homemade Focaccia and I whipped up some of my tuna salad. The two came together into a splendid sandwich.
Tuna Salad on Homemade Focaccia Arugula and Tomato
The Focaccia was made using Anne Burrell's Recipe
My tuna salad was made with tuna, carrots, celery, dill pickle relish, mayo and lemon juice.
Zoomie- The tomatoes shown are Windset Farms Campari "on the vine." Responsibly greenhouse grown non-gmo. They were on sale at Lucky Market for a remarkable $2 lb. While not as good as our home grown crop they are tasty and cheap.
Home made focaccia is grand especially still warm out of the oven. The best focaccia I have ever had is right up the street from you at Angelo's in Petaluma.
