Here's the Beef!

Tuscan Style Porterhouse Steak Sunday Dinner
I was shopping the local market looking for Sunday dinner ideas when this Porterhouse steak called out to me. Porterhouse is my favorite cut because you get both strip and fillet. I grilled it to rare and accompanied it with onion rings, heirloom tomatoes and a parsley salad. It was splendid! A luxury meal like this is affordable when you cook it at home. The  food cost was under $25 and fed four . I tipped myself with dry vodka martini before dinner.

I love Porterhouse. It is two steaks in one.

Chilebrown- There is an independent market nearby called Harvest. They have a full service butcher counter at reasonable prices and quality.
Zoomie- Thank you kind lady. I have followed you lead and started uploading directly to blogger and not using photobucket. It is easier to control.
