Hometown Vacation

The time/money equation put a hold on vacation plans this year. Since a vacation is an escape from the normal routine  we celebrated vacation hometown style: Sunday morning Italian-French style pastries, coffee and good company. We talked about movies, current events and food. That's a short vacation without the travel expense.

Don't forget the cannoli!

The cannoli looks great. They are too rich for me but Ms. Goofy loves them. Next time you make some give us a shout and Ms. Goofy will be at your doorstep.

Best kind of vacation - no travel hassles, you know the beds will be comfortable and you get to choose your favorite people to accompany you. ;-)

Chilebrown- I wish I could take credit for the cannoli. They are from Creekside Bakery in Novato. We hang out and chill there on Sunday after shopping.
Zoomie- I agree. I have been longing to go on a cruise. We are looking at a cruise to Alaska in May.

BTW, there's still something strange about your comment blank. It lets you type a comment, but when you have posted, it then presents you with another comment block and the word verification - and it won't let you submit until you repeat your comment in the second box and then do the word verification. Very strange.
